This is my dentist in Los Algodones Mexico, Mayra Jimenez. Mayra specializes in Orthodontics and works together with her Brother Enrique Jimenez, Oral Surgeon. Mayra trained in Guadalajara. Shes a sweetie and everyone in the office is nice and Oscar the receptionist helps with all the translations.
They do not lack customers, each time I have gone in the waiting room it is packed. I got her name from my friend Luci who adores them.
The dentist office is not up to code like the states, but where they lack the fancy office they make up in friendly careing people. Mayra and her assistant were even singing while working on me....something you won't hear in the states !
The bill is a fraction of what you have to pay in the States. I should have all my work done by tomorrow. Glad I am sticking around to wrap stuff up on the lot by Apr 7th so I'll be close to the border.

Looking out to the East, we can see the Foothills





















We think this is a area for shade, we see people put the sunshades up on the lattice .
I see potential for hanging Baskets of flowers and Hummingbird feeders and Geckos from Mexico on the front side . I already have my Wish List started from Mexico to landscape the lot. Found the Cactus Man in our neighborhood ,so I can buy more different kinds for my desert garden. Mr. & Mrs. Miller the prior owners left their special rocks on the lattice. Unfortunately Mr. Miller passed away just recently and Mrs. Miller decided to give up the lot. I sent word and our card that we would take good care of the lot. The rocks will stay there in his memory.

I am so anxious to put my special touch to the lot....miss my gardening days!
Love the fact we have a place for friends and family to stay with us. We will rent it out to our RV friends when we are not there.










I'm not thrilled of the road, could use a coat of blacktop. The neighborhood is quiet and all the neighbors have well tended lots. Looking towards the Foothills is wonderful! We took off on the bikes the other day and rode around our neighborhood and it was so peaceful....we can really get used to this! Shopping is close by and my favorite mini-Mart that has great ice cream cones is a short bike ride. We can join the YMCA where they have a outdoor pool for swimming. The Y it is a short drive or a bike ride from the lot.

Still in Yuma

We are still in Yuma AZ, we have decided to stay here for another week at our friends lot in the foothills. Apr 1st we possibly head to Pilot Knob in Winterhaven CA for a week, but we may not and stay longer in Yuma because we have some exciting news to tell and I have also been to Mexico to the dentist. We were going to be there two weeks but enjoyed all the space at Ken & Dee's lot. We have alot of friends down here, Jim & Linda Johnston are at Country Roads RV Park and Dave and Luci Harris are over at the Tuscany RV Park. Both these parks are 55+ parks with security. Bill & Joanne Lockwood have a lot not far from Ken & Dee and it is in regular residential area where you can either put in RV's or homes. Many have RV's that come in the winter time but leave when it gets to hot in the Summer. My driving instructor Jerry Ray is close by and has a lot just off Foothills Blvd.

We still have not caught up with Bob & Sharlee Entz . We did see Jerry Ray but Dick Reed had already left.

Most of the new sections have new homes being built and not zoned for mobile/RV, nice areas though.
