Merry Christmas!

Wishing all our family and friends a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Hard to believe 2008 is over and another year starting. Hard to believe we have had the Yuma property almost 3 yrs now.....time fly's when you are having fun!!

We miss the family but sure glad we were not home in the snow!

We celebrated Christmas with our friends Jim & Linda Johnston and went out to dinner and had a wonderful Prime Rib dinner at John & Margies Restaurant.....good food! We've gone there after church for brunch and it was delicious. Linda had her Motorhome looking like Martha Stewart's Christmas it was beautiful!

Christmas Morning I dressed up like Santa and delivered Christmas cards and homemade cookies, fudge, cake balls that I made to 7 families that live near us and call friends, really put a smile on my face to do something nice for someone else. I jazzed up my wagon and put all the plates of goodies in it to deliver them.

We also received goodies from our next door neighbors Laurie & Bob and Sandy & Earl and friends Jim & Barb Sweeney Thanks!

New Year Eve we'll celebrate with friends and New Years Day we head to lake Mittry to visit friends camped there.

To our family members who have passed on at Christmas times, Sarah Ann ( my daughter 1983) and Larry Poche' ( my Dad Dec 2007), Dan's Aunt Margaret in January2008, Cousin Donna in Louisiana Jan 2008, you are missed but forever in our hearts...We love you!
Our hearts also miss our dear friends Gaylord Maxwell & Dave Balaria that we lost this year, we just know those two are making RV spaces up there in heaven, you are very very missed here in the RV world of friends!

Yuma Christmas parade

This was our 2nd year watching the Christmas parade go past our street. Looks like more were out and it was a chilly night but that did not stop us from coming out and waving and saying Merry Christmas to everyone.

We loved how they decorated the dune buggies, golf carts & cars

Waiting for the Christmas parade to drive by our street

Our Christmas Decor

I'm hiding behind the Grinch! Making sure our Christmas presents arrive!
Next to the Grinch is Santa who has crashed into the tree and the Reindeer are hanging from the tree .
Jenny with the Snow Town Carolers
They blink to music or lights stay on.

I'm really in the Mood for Christmas!!
