It was a full house having all our friends come visit us. It could also be painful since we sent some of them to Mexico to the Dentist!
We played lots of card games and learned a new game called Qwirkle which I cannot find so will have to order over the internet if I do not find it in WA at the game store.
Bob & Gill took us out to dinner to the Olive Garden on Valentines Day....lordy every Restaurant had long lines so I don't think any woman in town cooked that day!! Thank-You Bob & Gill.
Valentines Day is also Bob & Gill's wedding anniversary.
Weather is starting to finally warm up and be nice. I got a bunch of flowers to plant and put in front of the Arches.
Visited with friends Gaylord & Margie Maxwell at Country Roads RV Park. Margie's flowers were beautiful!!
Went to Julieann's Restaurant to celebrate our friend Jim Johnston's birthday with Linda his wife and friends Frank & Dianne Gruelle. Had a great time , food was wonderful and being outside among the Parrots and Peacock walking around the grounds.
Had fun with short visit from Charlie & Gloria Goss and Brent & Di Roulier who boondocked out near the Foothills.
We did receive very sad news on Feb 28th, our dear friend Dave Balaria died suddenly taking a walk with his wife Sandy. Our heart and prayers go out to Sandy. Dave & Sandy did alot of seminars for the Life On Wheels and his presentations were outstanding! He was a great guy, always laughing and always there to help others. He will be truly missed by the Boomers and Life On Wheels Staff.
Dan won two Silver medals in Pickleball with the 2008 Yuma Senior Games. Many of the participants have competed in more events and many each year. One fellow has collected 200 metals!
