San Luis Mexico

Our friends Tom & Dori Weissman and Sid & Barb Zielke came to Yuma for a couple days so we had a great time together. Last time we had seen Sid and Barb was in Mazatlan Mexico in March 2007. Last time we had seen Tom & Dori was at Sid's birthday last year. We decided to go over to San Luis to find a gas station so the Weissman's & Zielke's could come fill up their motorhomes the next day. The high prices of fuel in the states are hurting us with large gas tanks so going to Mexico you save about $100.00. We filled up the Jeep for $2.69 a gallon.

He's at it again!! Sid Zielke searching the pavement for pull tabs! Sid would crack us up laughing watching him stand in the middle of the roads or walking down the road while we were waiting to cross the border picking up pull tabs for the Ronald McDonald House.

Before leaving Yuma our friends Tom & Dori Weissman came to stay with us for a couple days. This is the first time we have had two Alfas on the lot since the casita was built. Friends Sid & Barb Zielke stayed with us before the casita was made. They sure liked the casita!

Beautiful Flowers from Alaska

On our trip to Alaska I saw and photographed some of the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen

. During the Summer time the growing season is very short but you have nearly 24 hrs of sunshine so the flowers grow at an alarming rate. I was in awe of the beauty there!
