Happy 4th Of July Week!

We are up in Sunny Ocean City WA at the Ocean Shores RV Resort to celebrate the 4th of July holiday with family and especially Aunt Alice and her 91st Birthday. We are only a short drive away from Cousins Grant & Donna who live in Ocean Shores. We'll be here till July 4th and then we head to Moscow Idaho for the Life On Wheels Conference till July 15th .

We head to the Tri-Cities WA for a family reunion in Richland July 15-16th. We will be at Russ Dean's in Pasco for some repair work 17th. Trying to find where the leak is coming into the motorhome and leaving a nasty stain on the bedroom ceiling.

Sister Jeannette is coming up from Louisiana camping so we will get together with her and her Boyfriend Bill before the end of July.

I have just posted several links of our favorite friends websites for everyone to check out. Movin' On, is the website of Ron and Barb Hofmeister who were our mentors into going Full-time RVing. We have both of their books. We also have several books by Sharlene "Charlie" Minshall, our Solo Silver Gypsy. Charlie is a hoot and we adore her. We do not travel without Mike & Terri Church's books especially the Mexican one. We will see Mike & Terri at the Life On Wheels Conference where they will be teaching Travel classes. We have all but their "RVing in Europe" Book. Jaimie Hall has lots of info in her website and we have two of her books. As you can tell we LOVE to read about RVing!! We have a large collection of RV books.

Caught the granddaughter's "bug" over the weekend so Dan and I haven't ventured out much for a few days. Sure hope I shake it before July 1st! Miss going out on a photo shoot and I can hear the Ocean close by. We are surrounded by Tall trees so finding a satellite site was iffy but we found one. There is a Wildlife Refuge on the park so I'm anxious to get some bird photos.
I think there are moles , cats are studying the ground and bushes pretty good...good that will keep them busy ....smile.

Peace and Quiet at Tall Chief

We arrived to Tall Chief Resort between Fall City & Redmond on Tues June 13th. This is one of our favorite places to camp because of the large sites, quiet with tall majestic Fir trees. If you are lucky once in awhile you'll spot a Doe or two grazing on the lush Green grass in a field near by. The cats love being here because of all the birds that come to their birdfeeder to chatter at. Sasha likes teasing the squirrels that beg for peanuts.

I enjoy walking all around the park, it has hills so I get a good work out walking.
We have a very nice lodge where I love to play card games with friends and a not so warm pool and hottub to relax in.

The campground is close to family & friends spred out so we'll do alot of visiting before we leave on June 27th to Ocean Shores for a week.

We will celebrate Dan's Aunt Alices 91st birthday on July 2nd with family:
Donna & Grant, Barbara, Jim & Jan, Audra & David, friends Bob & Sue. Alice does not act her age! She is more like in her 70's, this gal is still getting around on her own and doing fantastic for 91!! I think it is because of her positive attitude.

We have been enjoying time with family and friends back here in WA. We have announced that we will no longer be in the Northwest beyond Sept.
Dan and I do not do well in the Wintertime in the Northwest. Too cold and TOO WET! Last Dec 1st we had 8 1/2 inches of SNOW!!

We are anxious to go back to our property the end of Sept where it is constantly sunny and warm and our bones do not ache!

Back In The Pacific Northwest

June already! Time flys when you are having fun!
Here we are in our favorite spot at the Cascade Campground in Snoqualmie WA . We have a large site to the cats delight for going outside and the bird feeder up to tease the Squirrels.

Here are Johnny, Marie & Willie singing for us. Johnny used to play guitar for alot of famous Country Western Singers for over 40 yrs. He loves playing the guitar and singing. Willie is a great singer too and quite the comedian!! It is aways a treat to see them happy and always smiling.
