New Cooling Unit for Frig

A week before we were suppose to head out of Yuma and head back North our cooling unit on the back of the frig in the Seeya died. We had no choice but to get a new cooling unit put back on for over $2,000 . Not what we had hoped to do starting our journey back home. I was just glad I had not put the food back into the RV before we were packing up to leave so I did not lose any food.

The Norcold refrigerators have been a very scary subject. They were ALL on the recall list and some people's RV's burned to the ground because of the faulty frig's. We knew at least 3 people personally that that happened to so we were real nervous!! The new cooking unit has a fan on it, which surprised us because we never thought we had a fan on the other one or it was not hooked up so I praise God that he protected us and we did not burn up!!

Movie & dinner date

We just love going to the movies on Wednesdays at the Main Street cinema in old Yuma. Cost's us only $4 each and you get a bucket of Popcorn FREE EACH! Such a deal!!! Afterwards we often go out to dinner with our group of friends.

We have so much fun with our friends!!! Like being teenagers all over again!!!

New MCD Shades for Motorhome

Apr 26th we got the new MCD shades for the motorhome, very expensive $2,000 but love them!! There is a dark sunshade and then a light blackout shade. Makes it nice that we can see out but people can't see in with the shades and keeps the RV much cooler inside and more privacy at night. We had 7 big windows done, still need 4 more but that can wait till 2012 in the Winter to replace.
