Rest of our time at the Elks club in Puyallup we visited with friends Nancy Uhrich, Bob & Sue Morgan for get togethers.  We always love it when Bob spoils us and makes a yummy dinner for us. Had Taco's and Beer at Bumpys in Puyallup with Bob & Sue. Breakfast at Mrs. Turners with Nancy.

  When my Mom & Dad came to visit us in Yuma in March  last year, Mom and I went to a Art Walk.  The art walk was 17 different houses where local & Snobird artists were showing off their creative talents and many were selling them.  I fell in love with alot of the watercolor paintings and my Mom kept elbowing me in the ribs saying " You can do that, take some lessons!!!" I listened and began lessons with a very gifted watercolor artist Marin Waddill.

This year I joined the Mountain Shadows Artists Association so I can take classes from some great teachers, exchange ideas, go to exhibits and demonstrations.  I have two mediums so far, watercolor & Photography.

In April I got a whole bunch of canvases & art supplies from someone who bought a trailer and inside was gobs of art supplies and the guy just wanted to get rid of it .  My friend Sharon called me up and said to come over if I wanted any of it.  I was overwelmed at how much stuff this guy was getting rid of . I asked the guy how much he wanted for all of it and he said $5 so I bought every thing for $9 , I was SO excited!!! All the art supplies were worth $255.00!!!!  The guy had no clue what this stuff was worth and most of it was brand new so I will be learning to do Acrylic painting too.
I love the easy clean up of watercolor painting while I am on the road though.

I got a phone call from my friend Sharon that one of her neighbors had a bunch of art supplies to get rid of and would I be interested. I jumped in the car and came right over and was overwhelmed at what this guy was getting rid of and asked "How much do you want for it?" He said $5!!!

FIVE DOLLARS????!!!
Heck I handed him $9 and Ron loaded everything up in the Jeep and I just stood there overwhelmed like I just won the lottery!! The guy had no clue how much this stuff was worth, he just wanted to pitch it!!! I scanned all the stuff and it was worth $255.00

JACKPOT!!!!!
