Family Day at the Casino

While staying up at Tall Chief we were close to the new Snoqualmie Casino in Snoqualmie so we set up another family lunchen in Aug

Dan and I agree this casino has a fantastic buffet for lunch!

Joining us were Will, Mike,Fred, Jenny, Rete,Dan, Dotty, Jack ,friend Willy, Marc, Aunty Jo ,Bill

Just LOVE being with family love you all!!

Good Friends Get together

We had a great time getting together with good friends Debbie & Layton ( Alex) Alexander. They were up from Houston Texas to visit her kids. Still blows me away how grown up the kids are with kids of their own!!

Debbie and I met back in the early 80's in DesMoines WA when I used to take care of her kids in the daycare I used to work at and knew her oldest son Mike from working at the Midway grade school. She got me the job with Dr. Lau that started my love for the medical field. Thanks Debbie!

Oct 15-Oct 18th Pismo Beach/Oceano CA

Dan and I stayed 4 days in Oceano at their Elks club so we could tour around Pismo Beach area. Elks club was pretty packed with several groups of RV's there but luckily had enough room for us. The beach was a short walk to the end of the block and I got a chance to capture one of the most fantastic sunset photo's I have ever taken!!

When we were in Pismo Beach we got the chance to be judges for the Clam Chowder cook-off for their clam festival. For $5 each we got to sample 8 kinds of chowder and vote on the best one. Ha-Ha we realize now that the $5 did not get you much chowder and NONE could beat my chowder recipe!!

I had gotten my recipe from Doogers Restaurant in Warrenton Oregon and put in my own secret goodies . I made a huge pot of it at Winchester Bay near Reedsport Oregon for all our Roving Rods friends and they gobbled it up not leaving a drop left!
Loved the scenery at Pismo Beach, just beautiful there. Enjoyed watching the surfers trying to catch a wave.

Boomer Get together in Aug

Happy Birthday Bernie & Kay

We first met this delightful couple on our Mexico trip to Guanajuato in 2007 and had a blast with them. We have become close friends ever since and just love them! They Summer in Bellevue WA and winter where ever they park their little Road Trek class B motorhome. Very active couple and not coach potatoes! They run circles around me!! They came to stay with us down at the casita this year and bumped into them several times this year along the way

Love you guys!!!.

We loved playing along the Pismo Beach & Oceano area in California, weather was perfect for walks along the beach and taking fantastic sunset photo's

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FELIX!

This is Felix our beloved Cat, he just celebrated his 15th birthday. He's doing pretty good for being such a old guy. Gave him a Summer haircut and he loves it! Normally he is a very fluffy cat with long hair but because of his age he grooms himself less so the long hair becomes a problem. Got some electric dog clippers and gave him a hair cut and he did not resist. Made us both happy!
Felix has been camping since he was a baby, been to more places than most people!
We sure love him!!

Wedding Day!

Sunday Aug 9th my step-Sister Kathy Cooper married Rick Rodlend, it was a short and simple wedding ceremony in a little park with just family.
Congratulations Kathy & Rick!
After November Kathy will move up to Sequim where Rick lives and sell her house.
Kathy now has a very pretty step daughter
