Happy Birthday Jordan!

Everyone got together to celebrate Granddaughter Jordan's 16th Birthday.
Aunt Jennifer got a bunch of HUGE balloons, best friend Tony getting word that Jordan is on her way to the Surprise party.

Granddaughter Jordan celebrating her 16th birthday and opening her card from Grandma Jenny & Grandpa Dan with a gift certificate to buy more books from Barnes & Noble.

Jordan loves to read! She loves to read about Vampires and there is a series of books out that she loves. I guess it is the latest craze and Barnes & Noble said the books are hot sellers!

Jordan is growing up to be a wonderful young lady, I like her friends....which is usually odd for grandparents! They really are some nice kids. She is mellowing out and not the wild little kid she used to be.

I have to say I am delighted to see her maturing into a great young woman.

I loved playing the Air guitar and bowling with the Wii with her one day had us both laughing!

Gourds Galore

Gourds that Dotty is taking to the Thurston Fair to show what can be done on Gourds and she represents the Washington State Gourd Society .

Mom and the Wolf Gourd she made and sold for $250.00 at the Thurston Fair.
The gourd is beaded and crossstitched, fantastic work!!

Happy Anniversary Dan & Jenny!!
Fourteen years ago we eloped to Eureka Springs Arkansas to the most beautiful Victorian B & B town we had ever seen while we were on vacation with Jenny's Dad & step-Mom and Jenny's Brother in Branson Missouri.

Time flys when you are having so much fun together! It really has been a wonderful journey of exploring for Dan and I and loving every minute of it!

We celebrated the Day over at some friends house to also celebrate our friend Sue Morgan's 50th birthday and later celebrated our Anniversary too.

Happy 4th Of July

Awesome fireworks!

I used to go to the Waterland Festival in the Summers in DesMoines Wa . Through the years more trouble has been a problem down at the marina with gangs. DesMoines decided a few years ago to do away with the waterland Festival and ONLY shoot off fireworks on the 4th of July.

We had a great time with my best friend Nancy.

Dan & I went to the Des Moines Marina to watch the 4th of July Fireworks. We had front row seats sitting up on my best friend Nancy's balcony of her condo. WOW! What a show!! Fantastic!!

Happy Birthday Aunt Alice

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALICE!!
93 yrs old...WOW! I sure hope I'm as sharp as Alice when I get old!!
She's going to live to be 100!!

We celebrated Alice's birthday with Aunt Barbara, Audra, David, Trevor and his girlfriend. Had a nice BBQ and of course Barbaras home made Red Velvet cake.
We gave Alice a gift certificate to Safeway. Aunt Alice worked for Safeway many many years ago.

We enjoyed the day!
