Our Church

From a very young age I have seeked God, I remember going to a church 3 houses down from where I lived in Seattle near Green Lake.A lady came up to me and asked me where my parents were and I said " They are at home, I'm here to find Jesus". The lady was impressed that I had come all by myself at such a young age to worship. I have always had a love for crosses and so it must have been my destiny to become a Catholic.
When St. John Neumanns church was being built I just knew that it was a Holy place that my soul wanted to be in Yuma AZ.
I missed going to All Saints Church in Puyallup WA where Dan and I were very active in the church. Dan was a Catholic and because I was baptised as a baby, I went to classes and became a active member .
My father was Catholic and so Dad and I always felt even more spiritual when we worshipped together at his church in Louisiana.

Our friends Chuck & Jan Moore enjoy going to our church too when they are here in Yuma.

HAPPY EASTER

We had a very nice Easter dinner with our next door neighbor's Sandy & Earl Estes and Sandy's best friend Linda.

Julieanna's Patio Cafe. Julieanna's is my FAVORITE place to eat in Yuma AZ and oddly enough belongs to Julie Fritz Feinberg and Dr. Dale Feinberg who is my foot doctor!

This is my favorite Restaurant in Yuma AZ
I love the food and the inside is classy and the outside dining area is wonderful! All the tables have Mosaic patterns on them made by a local lady, during the lunch time meal you will have a chance to see the birds and the peacock.

Party Time In Mexico

Our friends Joey & Carl Christensen and friends, Nancy & Gary Asplund and friends, Jan & Chuck Moore, Linda & Don Troyer met up with Dan & I at the El Paraiso Restaurant Bar Anniversary party in Los Algodones Mexico. We all got a plate of yummy food and all the Beer and Margaritas you could drink from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. We had entertainment and dancing and buying goodies. Dan got me a T-shirt from El Paraiso . The Anniversary draws the Americans over the border to whoop it up and have alot of fun! We have a couple photo's of us waiting in the long line to get back over the border and Carl Christensen teasing Jan Moore to buy a ceramic horse that she does not need and had us all cracking up!

We just love hanging out with this group of friends, we are always laughing and having such a great time with them. We are indeed blessed to have so many great friends in our lives.
