New Start
Due to getting way too far behind and losing alot of photo's when the computer crashed and did not have alot of the photo's backed up I stopped doing the blog.
So with the new year of 2011 starting I will start with 2011. I will say 2010 was a great year, we were very busy with Students doing the RV Driving School lessons with Dan.
Had a great visit with my Mom & Step-Dad Dotty & Jack Cooper come stay with us. Lots of visits with friends and a big bash with 42 people here for Dan's 60th Birthday party on March 15th on our new beautiful patio.
I got my garden fix with lots of flowers in the back yard in the new flower box and enjoyed fresh green salads from all the Romaine & loose leaf lettuce I grew.
Headed back to the Pacific Northwest in May and froze our butts off!!! Could have stayed in Yuma another month for sure!! Had a great time with Aunt Rete & Uncle Fred in Richland. Rete & Jenny took off on a Casino Hop and had a blast just the two of them. Jenny LOVED the Northern Quest Casino and the plush Hotel there!! Thanks Rete!!!
We said a tearful good-bye to our eldest cat Felix on June 14th who died of a rare and rapid cancer.
We loved seeing our new granddaughter Charlotte born in July on the 24th, my Son Jason & his wife Ginnella are over the moon in love with their new daughter and big sister Jordan is fantastic with Charlotte! Celebrated our eldest granddaughter Jordans 18th birthday on July 29th.
Jenny had a scare in July and rushed to the hosp, thought she was having a heart attack but was a mysterious severe spasm that doctors could not understand but did find some nodules on her lungs so monitoring them. So she is a medical mystery because they could not understand what caused the severe spasm?
We adopted a new kitten born under Mom's back porch in May and discovered in July. Named her Moochy because she really is a Moocher and a ball of energy!!! Sashamio was sad he lost Felix who was his playmate. Great to have a new friend except Moochy was very hyper for a girl kitty...Moochy is a tomboy!!! Anyway she is mellowing out in 2011 so she is not being a terror and the boys are not hissing as much at her to mellow out!
Enjoyed lots of visits with family and friends through the Summer. Missed seeing those that we did not get a chance to see.
Left the Pacific Northwest Sept 10th and headed to Eugene Oregon to visit sister Chris and get new tires for the motorhome that cost a small fortune!!!
Headed down the coast and caught 220 Dungeoness crabs in Winchester Bay Oregon!! Had a blast with the Roving Rods friends Sept 14th-29th.
Decided to stop and see some new to us Thousand Trails parks in California and Jenny was mad we packed the lounge chairs instead of the Kayak, there were three areas perfect for kayaking!!
Did a day trip to Yosemite with friends Joe & Hannah Dubuc and had a fantastic time!!
Got together with friends Mary & Elaine at the SKP Park " Park of the Sierras" near Coursegold CA.
We arrived back home to Yuma AZ on Oct 25th in time to decorate the casita & yard for Halloween even if it was only just to entertain Jenny!
Had a great Thanksgiving up at Mittry Lake near Yuma with Boomer friends and Christmas next door with Earl & Sandy and friends and enjoyed the Christmas light parade and Happy hour with Boomer friends in Dec.
A year of lots of fun, laughter with lots of friends and family...Life is Good!!!

Wild Wild West
We had a fantastic visit with our friends Lou & Brenda that came to visit us the first part of January. The Wild West show was over at the Territorial Prison in Yuma. People were dressed up in official clothes of the 1800's era and would have shoot outs. It was pretty warm that day and I could just imagine how hot it was to wear those costumes!We had a great time!
